Selecting an Outfitter......

     The process of selecting an outfitter when planning a trip to go fishing or hunting can become very confusing. Before booking a trip you should be well informed of the following matters which can greatly influence the success of your trip.

Outfitters Experience

     There are many Ontario fishing an hunting outfitters in operation. It is important to ask how many years have the outfitter has  been in business under the same business name.

Outfitters Package

     Does the outfitter provide clear written information about the cost and the services included in the fishing or hunting package? Does the outfitter also provide  clear written information about the cost of the services not included in the outfitters package? Has the outfitter explained all the hidden costs?

Outfitters Terms and Conditions.

     Does the outfitter provide clear, concise written information describing the terms and conditions which apply when you book your fishing and hunting package?

Outfitters Services at Camp

     In order to select the outfitter which will best meet your expectations at camp and during your fishing and hunting trip, you must enquire about the following:

* maximum number of fisherman or hunters in camp

* guest sleeping accommodations

* guest meal services

* camp equipment and facilities

* guide service for fishing or hunting

* method of preserving meat,  antlers and fish at camp

Outfitters Reputation

     A good reputation takes years of commitment and effort to build. It is important to know what others have to say about an outfitter. Ask for a list of references of guests who hunted and fished with the outfitter  the past season. Invest the time and contact these guests, they will be pleased to discuss their trip and provide you with important information. They will also fill you in on the outfitters commitment to your success and satisfaction.

     We hope the information outlined above will help you select a reputable outfitter. We invite you to contact us for more information on our first class fishing and hunting trips!
