Location

Agich’s guests fly in to our lodge from the town of White River Ontario which is located along HWY 17.    Once in town, the airbase is approximately 3 miles away.  It’s usually best to arrive in White River the day before your flight to Kaby  Lake.  Many guests choose to stay the night in an area motel and drive to the airbase in the morning.   The drive North along the shoreline of Lake Superior is often spectacular with it’s many scenic overlooks and grand views of what the Ojibwe call “Gichigami” meaning “Big Water”.  Directions to the airbase will be provided to the guest closer to your date of arrival.  White River Air is our flight service of choice. Our flights typically begin at 7 AM so it’s usually best to arrive early to get gear loaded and get checked in.  Please note, that delays due to weather are out of Agich’s control and  therefore we cannot be held liable for weather delays.
